Services

Solinide Photonics offers prototyping services on a high-performance SiN-platform. Our e-beam litography process allows for flexibility, small feature size and fast turnaround times. We also offer ready-made ring-resonator chips based on our non-linear photonic platform.

MPW

Solinide Photonics is in the process of launching a multi-project wafer (MPW) run later in 2025. We are concurrently developing a PDK for our upcoming MPW services, and it will be made available on the Luceda Photonics website in the upcoming time.

Our vision

The goal of Solinide Photonics is to become a provider of microcombs — a novel laser source that provides multiple wavelengths. Built in the SiN platform, Solinide Photonics’ microcomb technology is power-efficient, scalable and mass manufacturable. As such it can have tremendous impact on mass-market applications such as datacenter interconnects, replacing the current technology with much needed improvement of energy-efficiency and scalability in data-rates.

About Us

Solinide Photonics is an integrated photonic startup company that spun off from Chalmers University of Technology. It was co-founded by Prof. Victor Torres-Company, Dr. Marcello Girardi, Dr. Oskar B. Helgason, and Dr. Alexander Grabowski. The company relies on over 10 years of experience in prototyping and manufacturing silicon nitride nanophotonic devices and possesses expertise in microcomb technology, device characterization, and PIC design and fabrication.
