A 10x Efficiency Breakthrough
Our silicon nitride photonic molecules achieves >60% optical conversion efficiency from CW laser light to optical combs this is a fundamental leap beyond the industry standard of 5-10%. By replacing multiple discrete lasers with a single micro-comb photonics chip, we’re enabling co-packaged optics (CPO) architectures that dramatically reduce power consumption, footprint, and cost at datacenter scale.
This isn’t incremental improvement. It’s a new physics-based approach to optical interconnects.
Built on World-Class Research
Solinide was founded by photonics researchers from Chalmers University of Technology, one of Europe’s leading institutions in integrated photonics. Our team combines deep academic expertise with proven industry experience. We’ve achieved sub-0.03 dB/cm propagation loss, Q-factors around 5 million, and 28 wavelength channels above 0dBm in our current SiN Processes.
